Don’t Just Sit Waiting for the Right Time

Have you ever asked yourself 🤔, “That’s something I’ve always wanted to do?”

I have also been in that situation, and you know what? By just thinking and waiting for the perfect timing, I never got the work done. The thing I learned was:

There’ll Never Be a Perfect Time Because You’ll Never be Totally Ready

In his book, The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, John Maxwell introduces Jim Rohn’s Law of Diminishing Intent, which states that:

“The longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds that you will never actually do it.”

John Maxwell

Don’t just wait for the right time. The time is now.

Don’t just wait for things to feel like they will get better or look better.

There is a saying: “When there is a hill to climb, don’t think that waiting will make it smaller.”

What you simply need to do is work with what you have, because if you don’t, you will be stuck with analysis paralysis and find yourself in the same place you were five years ago.
